Tobogganing Wildschönau

The Schatzberg toboggan run starts at the mid station and offers two different routes back down into the valley: The family toboggan run and the more challenging lumberjack ("Holzhacker") track. The Lanerköpfel toboggan track at the Markbachjoch mountain in Niederau is also a rather difficult track. Another track is situated at the Roggenboden, which is also illuminated at night for tobogganing after dark.

Ski Mountaineering Wildschönau

Wildschönau is one of the most beautiful ski touring areas in the Kitzbühel Alps and the mountain is a haven of peace and tranquillity. The meeting point for all tours is at rustic mountain huts with unspoiled powder snow descents. Popular ski touring routes include the Breitegg-Gern, Grosser Beil/Sonnjoch and the Lämpersberg. The tour to the Gern Alm on the Schatzberg mountain is ideal for beginners.
